The Homestead of Pureness, designed by Chia Chi Yeh, is a residential project that embraces a tonal of light and rustic. The use of wood, lavender, and grey colors adds depth and character to the space. One of the standout features is the high and transparent glass screen, along with tea glasses, which create an expansive and see-through feeling.

The designer has employed a semi-open-end method in the public area, allowing for a more transparent spatial experience. The study and kitchen are equipped with titanium-plated hardware and a glass screen, creating a visually striking effect. The kitchen also features a sliding door, providing flexibility in spatial configuration and effectively isolating cooking smells.

The combination of shades of grey, lavender, and wooden tones, along with the exquisite marble plates on the television wall, adds an element of elegance and high-end sophistication to the overall design. The result is a space that exudes purity and tranquility, offering the homeowner a Xanadu-like retreat within the city.

The realization of the Homestead of Pureness involved the use of various materials and technologies. Crystallized and low-key luxurious marble was used for the television wall, while glass screens and tea glasses added a touch of transparency. Titanium-plated hardware, wooden floorings, and system cabinets contributed to the overall aesthetic. Non-toxic cement paints were used to ensure a safe and environmentally friendly living environment.

The design specifications of the Homestead of Pureness include the application of a linear-slot method with hardware to highlight the outline of each area. The semi-open-end method creates a more transparent spatial feeling, eliminating the dullness of the original narrow and long space. Multiple sliding doors were used to construct a cohesive spatial aesthetic.

The Homestead of Pureness was designed by Chia Chi Yeh, a talented designer who carefully considered the interaction and functionality of the space. By shrinking the master bedroom and children's room internally, the study was expanded. Glass sliding doors with titanium-plated frames were used to create transparency and increase the visual impact. The addition of a short kitchen island enhanced flexibility during cooking. The same approach was applied between the study and the living room, resulting in an expansive visual effect.

The project, which took place in Taiwan, started in July 2020 and was completed in October 2020. Throughout the design process, extensive research was conducted to ensure the use of light colors and shades of white as the central theme. The careful selection and placement of materials, such as brown titanium-plated hardware, tea glasses, and ash-grey leather, created layers and aesthetics within the space. Wooden floorings and marbles added a sense of graciousness and semi-luxury, while warm wooden tones were used in the private areas.

One of the main challenges of the project was to infuse richness and steadiness into the space without creating a sense of heaviness. The designer achieved this by selecting light-colored wooden-grain elements for the flooring, cabinets, and walls, while incorporating dark brown furniture and accessories. This balance between dark and light colors created a harmonious and balanced overall design.

The Homestead of Pureness is a testament to the designer's meticulous attention to detail and commitment to creating a space that exudes purity and tranquility. The combination of light colors, natural materials, and thoughtful spatial configurations result in a truly unique and inviting residential design.
